“Mi sembra che la situazione sia completamente fuori controllo in varie parti del paese. E non da oggi. Chiudere ora per riaprire a Natale in sicurezza? E chi può dirlo? Con tutta onestà dico che Milano e Napoli non possono che chiudere. Sarei felice di essere smentito”.
Sono le parole del professor Massimo Galli, primario di malattie infettive all’ospedale Sacco di Milano, al Corriere del Mezzogiorno.
Resta solo il lockdown? “Mi aspetto novità in questo senso a breve: non sono i 31 mila casi di ieri a preoccupare, quanto la pressione sugli ospedali”.
Galli viene sollecitato in particolare sulla situazione della Campania. “Devo dire che il governatore della Campania è stato tra i primi a cogliere appieno la gravità della situazione, probabilmente anche perché ben consigliato dai miei colleghi e dagli esperti che gestiscono l’emergenza con una lettura corretta dell’epidemia”, dice Galli.
“De Luca ha agito con prontezza e senza cedere a posizioni di comodo, poiché bisogna dire che determinate decisioni sono evidentemente impopolari e bisogna avere il coraggio, la tempestività, o come dite voi a Napoli, la cazzimma , per poterle assumere”.
