“Innanzitutto devo dire che quello mi preoccupa non è tanto che l’Italia abbia la sua parte di vaccini anti Covid. Ma mi preoccupa di più la fase 2. Come arrivano i vaccini alle persone. E qui mi collego alla sua ultima domanda. La medicina territoriale è stata un grande flop in Italia”.
“In modo particolare in Lombardia. E’ un dato di fatto. Del concetto di prevenzione ce ne siamo dimenticati da un bel po’. Si è disinvestito invece di investire. E’ questa che rimane un’assenza importante”.

“Già nella stagione 2019-2020 risulta dai dati disponibili che la copertura vaccinale degli ultra 65 enni in Lombardia era stata del 49%. Contro il 54%, dato non esaltante, a livello nazionale. Francamente uno davanti a questi numeri si fa qualche domanda. Quest’anno poi bisognava dare una grossa spinta all’organizzazione vaccinale”.
“Mio vaccino anti influenzale? Ancora non l’ho fatto, domani se tutto va bene lo farò. Guardi, è stata una piccola crociata per poter avere la possibilità di avere il vaccino insieme a tutto il personale del mio ospedale. Altrimenti è ovvio che avrei potuto trovare una via”.
“Cosa faccio a Natale? A casa saremo il meno possibile, anche se questa cosa sarà molto dolorosa. Cercheremo di rispettare con molta attenzione le disposizioni. Confesso che io stesso farò un tampone prima di andare a trovare le due persone più anziane della mia famiglia. Due zie ultranovantenni, a cui tengo molto, e che non voglio mettere a rischio”.
