“La logistica è una scienza in continua evoluzione. Bisognava chiedere a Amazon: come fa a consegnare un pacco in un paesino della Sila nel giro di un giorno?“.

Il professor Andrea Crisanti si esprime così sul tema della gestione, anche logistica, dei vaccini contro il coronavirus. “Il rischio è che dosi di vaccino vadano sprecate. Può capitare che una persona, dopo aver prenotato la vaccinazione, non si presenti all’appuntamento. A quel punto, la dose già ‘caricata’ nella siringa va sprecata e viene buttata. Il vaccino è deperibile, in Inghilterra e in Israele sono previste liste di persone ‘di riserva’. Se qualcuno non si presenta all’appuntamento, c’è un’altra persona pronta a subentrare e la dose non viene sprecata”, dice a Tagadà su La7.

Dal primo febbraio, 15 regioni sono in zona gialla con misure e regole più soft. “Le zone gialle non bloccano la trasmissione del virus, l’esempio del Veneto tra ottobre e dicembre lo testimonia. E’ stata la regione che ha passato più tempo in zona gialla ed è stata la regione con più casi e più morti“.
