CTS Locatelli – “C’è un effetto delle misure adottate con i vari Dpcm, c’è un’iniziale ma chiara decelerazione della curva della trasmissibilità dell’infezione. Il dato relativo all’Rt è un indicatore della decelerazione”. Sono le parole del professor Franco Locatelli, presidente dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità e componente del Cts, che si esprime così sui dati relativi all’emergenza coronavirus.
“I dati fanno riferimento alla settimana che va dal 2 di novembre all’8 di novembre, con la sola eccezione dell’occupazione dei posti letto nelle terapie intensive e nelle aree mediche: in questo caso il dato fa riferimento all’11 novembre. Se pensate al bollettino diffuso dalla Protezione Civile, ieri per il quarto giorno consecutivo si è osservato un calo del numero degli accessi alle terapie intensive: 122, 110, 89 e ieri 60”, aggiunge.
“Questo sta ad indicare che il sistema messo a punto con una diversificazione delle misure con la stratificazione in classi di rischio differenziate sta portando i frutti e permette di gestire una situazione che rimane critica, ma rispetto alla quale cominciamo a vedere una decelerazione chiara e inequivocabile. Va confermata, ma deve essere fortemente motivante per far andare la curva epidemica nella direzione sperata”, afferma ancora.
