Crisanti indagato per diffamazione – Il microbiologo Andrea Crisanti è indagato dalla Procura di Padova dopo una segnalazione di Azienda Zero, il braccio operativo della Regione, secondo la quale le critiche dello scienziato al sistema di prevenzione Covid – in particolare l’uso generalizzato dei test rapidi – avrebbe gettato discredito sulla sanità veneta.
Il fascicolo è stato aperto all’inizio di marzo, e vede i magistrati procedere per l’ipotesi di diffamazione. A presentare l’esposto è stato il direttore generale di Azienda Zero, Roberto Toniolo. Crisanti, direttore del’istituto di microbiologia dell’Università di Padova, è un dipendente della sanità del Veneto.
Le critiche ai test rapidi, giudicati «inattendibili» dal professor Andrea Crisanti, e il fuori onda del direttore generale Luciano Flor al giornalista Danilo Procaccianti, erano stati oggetto della trasmissione Rai Report nei giorni scorsi.
La Procura di Padova ha aperto un’inchiesta per verificare se i test rapidi per il Covid siano affidabili, ovvero se siano in grado di rispettare le prestazioni diagnostiche promesse delle aziende farmaceutiche. L’ipotesi sulla quale si sta procedendo è di frode in pubbliche forniture.
L’apertura del fascicolo, affidato al pm Benedetto Roberti, risalirebbe ad alcune settimane fa. Sarebbero già state sentite alcune persone informate sui fatti. L’inchiesta, in pratica, vuole verificare se la Regione sia stata truffata dalle aziende farmaceutiche con forniture di test poco efficaci.
