Bassetti sul Covid – Il Prof. Matteo Bassetti, direttore della Clinica di Malattie infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova e componente della task force Covid-19 della Liguria, parla ad Adnkronos Salute facendo il punto sulla situazione epidemiologica.
“In questo momento non mi pare che la situazione stia esplodendo, ovvero ci sono Regioni che sono in piena seconda ondata e la terza la vedremo. Ma ci sono altre Regioni che hanno ospedali non pieni e l’indice Rt intorno a 0.90 o 0.95 comunque sotto 1”.
“Quindi fare di tutta l’erba un fascio e dire che tutta Italia deve andare in lockdown è sbagliato. Siamo oltre 60milioni di italiani e la misura unica non va bene”.
“Mentre il sistema dei colori ha fatto bene ed è metodologicamente corretto – aggiunge – Veniamo da 10 mesi, in cui tranne l’estate, siamo stati sempre chiusi e obbiettivamente non si possono solo e sempre bastonare gli italiani”.
“La scelta fatta a Natale di diversificare i colori in pochi giorni, uno rosso due giorni gialli, e permettere alle persone di fare acquisti non è stata molto intelligente. E’ stato il periodo peggiore degli ultimi mesi – conclude Bassetti – Questa scelta è stata dal principio sbagliata, come ho sempre detto, e non ha fatto contento nessuno”.
