Bassetti avverte gli italiani. Il Prof. Matteo Bassetti, direttore della Clinica di Malattie infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova e componente della task force Covid-19 della Liguria, ha parlato ai microfoni di ADNkronos Salute sottolineando i rischi relativi alla folla di persone nei weekend per lo shopping. Ecco le sue parole:
“La vera sfida sarà dopo il Natale, quando dovremmo vedere quello che succede a gennaio dove ci sarà aumento dei casi già previsto. Dobbiamo capire se sarà una terza ondata, la scia della seconda o si mischieranno casi di Covid con l’arrivo dell’ondata influenzale”.
“Dobbiamo fare attenzione e occorre rispettare le misure ora, prima del Natale. Ci sono atteggiamenti che non vanno bene, c’è troppa folla nei weekend per lo shopping. Dobbiamo cercare di essere bravi cittadini”.
“Vaccini? La tempistica nel contrastare un’epidemia è tutto. Mi pare di capire che con la vaccinazione anti-Covid partiremo dopo altri Paesi Ue, ad esempio la Germania per dirne uno. Invece dei primi di gennaio, in Italia dovremmo aspettare un mese in più”.
“E’ tantissimo, dovremmo correre invece passeggiamo. Se arriveremo a marzo-aprile 2021 con una copertura non adeguata sarà un bel problema”.
