Anna Scardigno morta a 29 anni, il sindaco: “Maledetto virus, che ingiustizia”

Anna Scardigno – «Oggi è un giorno triste. Maledetto Covid che ti sei preso una vita così giovane. Avverto come tutti voi un profondo senso di ingiustizia per questa perdita. Non è giusto». Lo scrive su Facebook il sindaco di Molfetta (Bari), Tommaso Minervini, dopo la morte di una ragazza di 29 anni, Anna Scardigno.

«Sono provato da questa perdita – sottolinea il primo cittadino – perché una giovane vita che vola via ti lascia un ferita, la ferita dei sogni infranti. A nome della comunità molfettese esprimo cordoglio alla famiglia».

Il sindaco ricorda poi che «in questa battaglia lunga un anno la nostra comunità molfettese ha pianto per le storie infrante di coloro che hanno perso la sfida con il virus. Per qualche ragione, però, abbiamo preferito costruire l’alibi che, in fondo, è qualcosa che colpisce gli altri, gli anziani, gli ammalati. Come se non fossero vite, storie, affetti da custodire, proteggere».

«Ma vorrei dirvi chiaramente – evidenzia – che tutto questo è un ALIBI, un grande alibi al quale abbiamo voluto credere per metterci al riparo dalla realtà», e ora «è giunto il momento che nessuno, proprio nessuno, si senta al riparo. Allora basta infingimenti, basta alibi!».

Minervini sottolinea che «non saranno certo gli insulti al Sindaco, al Presidente della Regione, alle donne e agli uomini dello Stato a tenervi al riparo dal virus. Smettetela di credere alle castronerie dei ciarlatani della parola, perché non c’è esercito, repressione, pozione magica che possa mai tenervi al sicuro dal virus». «Se vogliamo vincere questa battaglia – conclude – lo dobbiamo fare insieme, e l’unica arma di cui disponiamo è la responsabilità di ognuno».
