Si è messo in fila ed ha atteso il proprio turno, una volta entrato nell’ufficio postale ha quindi minacciato un dipendente per farsi consegnare il denaro. Compreso che non c’era disponibilità economica ha quindi chiesto di poter parlare con il direttore, poi è uscito e si è allontanato a piedi a mani vuote. La tentata rapina è avvenuta nella mattinata di martedì alle Poste di via Alessandria, al Nomentano.
La goffa rapina ha cominciato a prendere corpo intorno alle 11:00 quando il malvivente, mascherina ed occhiali da sole, ha atteso circa 30 minuti mettendosi in fila davanti gli uffici. Una volta dentro, secondo quanto poi riferito dai testimoni ai carabinieri, è entrato in una delle stanze degli uffici ed ha minacciato un lavoratore.
Una volta compreso che non c’erano soldi disponibili nell’immediatezza la richiesta a sorpresa “voglio parlare con il direttore“, che in quel momento non era presente alle Poste. Dopo dieci minuti di attesa il malvivente ha quindi abbandonato i propri intenti è uscito dai locali e si è allontanato a piedi senza fretta in direzione dell’adiacente Mercato Nomentano.
Richiesto l’intervento al 112, sul posto sono intervenuti i carabinieri della Stazione Roma Salario e quelli del Nucleo Radiomobile della Compagnia Parioli. Ascoltati i testimoni i militari hanno quindi acquisito le immagini di videosorveglianza sia delle Poste che di via Alessandria cominciando le ricerche del malvivente.
