Messaggio Conte agli italiani – Il premier Giuseppe Conte manda un messaggio agli italiani tramite un lungo post su Facebook. Ecco le parole del presidente del consiglio dei Ministri:
“Sono giornate di lavoro intenso, in cui alle parole – insieme alla squadra di governo – stiamo preferendo un silenzio operoso, indispensabile per riuscire a dare il massimo nella difficile fase che il nostro Paese sta attraversando.
L’anno che è appena iniziato ci pone di fronte a delle sfide mai affrontate prima nella storia repubblicana, destinate a segnare il nostro presente ma anche il nostro futuro e quello delle prossime generazioni. Abbiamo un’emergenza sanitaria mondiale da superare e una grave crisi economico-sociale da fronteggiare.
Abbiamo appena avviato la campagna di vaccinazione che va portata a termine il prima possibile. Uno sforzo immane, ma i primi risultati – che al momento ci vedono secondi in Europa per numero di vaccini somministrati – sono molto incoraggianti.

Sono sfide imponenti, molto impegnative. Ma accanto ad esse possiamo cogliere altrettante opportunità, in modo da costruire, mattone dopo mattone, l’Italia del futuro e così migliorare la qualità di vita dei cittadini.
Per raggiungere questi obiettivi occorrono piena dedizione, lucida determinazione, intelligente lungimiranza. Una premessa imprescindibile è rafforzare la coesione della maggioranza e, quindi, la solidità alla squadra di governo. Se percorreremo questo cammino con senso di responsabilità, avremo la più salda garanzia di andare nella direzione giusta, perseguendo l’interesse generale.
La nostra azione di governo dovrà rimanere sempre all’interno di questo perimetro, mirata a sostenere e migliorare la vita delle famiglie, dei lavoratori, delle imprese, a tutelare il diritto alla salute dei cittadini, ad assicurare un futuro ai nostri giovani.
Qualsiasi altra iniziativa o intervento che si ponga al di fuori di questo tracciato non mi appartiene e non mi riguarda. Questo è il limite che mi sono sempre imposto, dall’inizio del mio mandato.Non è mai venuta e mai verrà meno, da parte mia, l’apertura al confronto e all’ascolto delle forze che sostengono il governo. Ho sempre lavorato per raccogliere tutte le proposte migliorative su ogni tema o provvedimento sin qui adottato e così sarà anche in futuro, perché è questo che ci chiedono i cittadini.
Questo vale, ovviamente, anche per il Recovery Plan. Nei giorni scorsi ho sollecitato le forze di maggioranza a far pervenire osservazioni e proposte utili a migliorare la prima bozza riguardante il nostro Piano nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR). Ho sempre inteso quella prima bozza come un documento utile ad avere una base tecnica di discussione per poi operare le scelte “politiche” e dare una impronta strategica al nostro PNRR.
Proprio questa mattina, il ministro dell’Economia Gualtieri, insieme ai ministri Amendola e Provenzano, mi hanno sottoposto una versione più avanzata di quel primo documento. Posso già anticipare che le proposte e le osservazioni sin qui indicate dalle forze politiche si sono rivelate contributi utili ad arricchire e a migliorare il Piano.
A breve ci ritroveremo con tutte le forze di maggioranza per operare una sintesi complessiva, che valga a selezionare gli investimenti e le riforme più utili a modernizzare il Paese. I 209 miliardi che l’Europa ci mette a disposizione sono risorse ingenti, ma le nostre scelte devono essere ben ponderate.
La nuova versione del PNRR punterà con ancora maggior decisione sugli investimenti, soprattutto quelli ad alto impatto sulla crescita, sulla trasformazione dei settori e sulle filiere innovative. Maggiori risorse saranno destinate, in particolare, alla salute, ai giovani, al terzo settore, agli asili nido e alle persone con disabilità.Per mirare al superiore interesse dei cittadini dovremo condurre il confronto e selezionare le proposte finali in base alla loro intrinseca bontà, alla loro coerenza di sistema, e alla loro sostenibilità sociale e ambientale.
La piena disponibilità al dialogo predispone anche ad accogliere le buone idee degli altri. Una volta messa a punto una proposta migliorativa del Piano ritorneremo in Consiglio dei Ministri per la sua approvazione e riattiveremo così il confronto con l’intero Parlamento e, quindi, anche con le forze di opposizione, aprendoci anche alla discussione con tutte le parti sociali.
Adesso dobbiamo correre. Solo così potremo dare all’Italia l’accelerazione che serve a trarla fuori dalle difficoltà del tempo presente e a preservarla dalle ulteriori difficoltà che si annunciano all’orizzonte. Dobbiamo correre insieme. Buona festa dell’Epifania a tutti”.
