Maxi tamponamento Torino Bardonecchia – Ultime notizie terribili per un incidente autostradale. Il primo miniesodo verso la montagna si trasforma in dramma con due morti e ben 31 feriti di cui due gravi: questa mattina, sull’autostrada A32 a Salbertrand, in direzione Bardonecchia, in Valle di Susa nel Torinese, è avvenuto un gigantesco tamponamento con 25 auto coinvolte.

Le vittime sono un uomo e una donna: il primo è Francesco Armentaro, 37 anni, di Caselette (Torino). Lascia una moglie e due bambini: uno di 3 anni e uno nato appena tre mesi fa.

L’altra vittima, Michelanna Giachino, 71 anni, di Torino, soccorsa in condizioni disperate, è spirata durante il trasporto in ospedale. Stava andando in montagna a trovare i nipoti. Altre 31 persone sono rimaste ferite: due in codice rosso al Cto e alle Molinette di Torino, 4 in codice giallo, 25 in codice verde.

All’origine dell’incidente potrebbe essere il ghiaccio che si è formato sull’asfalto con le temperature bassissime di queste ore, ma anche l’alta velocità. Il presidente dell’Uncem, Unione piccoli comuni montani, Marco Bussone, punta il dito contro Sitaf, la società che gestisce l’autostrada:

“Le disattenzioni del concessionario della A32 nella gestione del manto stradale nelle scorse ore sono gravissime. E devono essere messe in luce. Una presa di posizione del neoministro Giovannini è necessaria. Diciamo da tempo che il modello di gestione di queste autostrade è inadeguato. Grave non avere sistemi di gestione preventiva più seri”.

L’incidente è avvenuto sulla corsia che sale verso la montagna, nel tratto prima della galleria Serre La Voute. Le auto coinvolte direttamente dall’incidente sono almeno 25. Altre sono rimaste bloccate dalle vetture di traverso sulle due corsie della carreggiata in direzione Bardonecchia.

L’autostrada A32 è stata chiusa con uscita obbligatoria a Susa, il traffico si è riversato sulla statale 25 intasandola. Indaga la polizia stradale di Susa. La Croce rossa e i vigili del fuoco hanno soccorso i numerosi feriti, molti rimasti bloccati nelle auto.

Secondo i primi accertamenti a provocare il tamponamento sarebbe stata un’auto andata in testacoda in una curva, che ha sbattuto sul lato destro per poi finire di traverso sulla corsia di sorpasso. A quel punto si è formata una coda, sulla quale però sono piombati altri veicoli a velocità elevata i cui guidatori non sono riusciti a fermarsi in tempo, e sono iniziati gli scontri a catena.
