Lo ha ribadito parlando con i giornalisti il commissario straordinario all’emergenza Covid Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, che stamattina si è vaccinato al drive through della Difesa allestito a Roma, nella cittadella militare della Cecchignola.
Sia al Commissario straordinario per l’emergenza Covid che al Capo della Protezione Civile, Fabrizio Curcio, che hanno atteso in fila assieme ad altri cittadini e militari seguendo i regolari protocolli per la somministrazione, è stata inoculata la prima dose del vaccino di Astrazeneca in una delle tende allestite nella struttura.
Da ieri pomeriggio in tutta Italia è possibile nuovamente somministrare il farmaco anti-Covid di AstraZeneca, che ha ricevuto giovedì il via libera dell’Ema. Dopo aver ottenuto il vaccino, Figliuolo ha parlato della campagna vaccinale ribadendo, appunto, che l’obiettivo è poter vaccinare l’80 percento degli italiani entro la fine del mese di settembre.
Ad aprile le prime dosi del vaccino Johnson & Johnson – “Abbiamo avuto una battuta d’arresto” con la sospensione di AstraZeneca per 4 giorni “ma già da ieri stiamo recuperando” e ora ci sarà “una forte accelerazione”, ha spiegato. Il commissario per l’emergenza Coronavirus ha ricordato che le dosi del vaccino Johnson & Johnson arriveranno in Italia nella seconda metà di aprile e in quel periodo l’obiettivo fissato è la somministrazione di 500.000 dosi al giorno.
“Johnson&Johnson arriverà nella seconda metà di aprile, con una quantità limitata che poi andrà aumentando tra maggio e giugno”, ha detto. Aggiungendo: “Per gli arrivi dei vaccini ci siamo ed è confermato l’arrivo per fine mese di 7 milioni di vaccini a fronte dei 6 milioni e mezzo circa di febbraio e gennaio. Quindi c’è una forte accelerazione”.
In merito ai problemi relativi allo stop di AstraZeneca per alcuni giorni, Francesco Paolo Figliuolo ha spiegato che in alcune regioni l’annullamento delle prenotazioni dei vaccini è stato del 20 percento, in altre del 10 percento e in altre ancora non c’è stato. “Quindi il differenziale e praticamente zero”, ha chiarito.
