Sei telefoni cellulari trovati nell’ultima settimana dagli agenti della polizia penitenziaria all’interno del carcere di Augusta, nel Siracusano.
“Nonostante la gravissima carenza di organico – dice il dirigente nazionale del Sippe, Sebastiano Bongiovanni – che costringe gli agenti della polizia penitenziaria a turni massacranti, al punto che si saltano pasti, il personale in servizio al carcere di Augusta, con grande professionalità, continua a svolgere il proprio dovere. Devo muovere una dura critica all’amministrazione penitenziaria, che è sorda ai bisogni ed alle esigenze degli agenti penitenziari”.
Su questi ritrovamenti la Procura di Siracusa ha già aperto un’inchiesta. Alcuni di questi telefonini sono stati rintracciati nelle celle.
A oggi, inoltre, il sindacato rende noto che ci sono quattro agenti di polizia penitenziaria risultati positivi al Covid.
