“La vendita di assorbenti è vietata dopo le 18, oppure, dimostri che si tratta di una necessità”.
Si è sentita rispondere così Alessia Ria, una ragazza di Collepasso, in provincia di Lecce, dalla cassiera del supermecato del suo paese.
Il motivo? Perché dopo le 18 è proibita la vendita di prodotti diversi da quelli rientranti nella categoria dei “beni di prima necessità”. E, a quanto pare, gli assorbenti non lo sono.
La disavventura di Alessia: “Dimostri che ha il ciclo o non può comprarli”
La storia, che a tratti potrà sembrare paradossale, è stata raccontata sulle pagine dal Corriere Salentino salvo poi essere rilanciata sui social in tempi record. Protagonista della disavventura è Alessia Ria, una studentessa 22enne di Collepasso, piccola cittadina in provincia di Leccese. Pressapoco alle ore 18.15 di ieri, si è recata presso un minimarket del suo paese per acquistare degli assorbenti quando, davanti allo scaffale dove sono esposti prodotti per l’igiene intima, si è imbattuta in un cartello bizzaro.
“Informiamo la Gentile clientela che, causa emergenza Covid, dopo le 18 non è possibile acquistare prodotti presenti in quest’area“.
Data la circostanza di stretta necessità, e ritenendo a buona ragione che gli assorbenti non rientrassero nell’assortimento di prodotti per i quali era stata interdetta la vendita, Alessia ne ha afferrato una confezione. Tutto liscio finché, una volta giunta in cassa per pagare, la cassiera le ha fatto notare che non avrebbe potuto procedere all’acquisto. “Non sono beni di prima necessità, deve lasciarli. – ha spiegato alla 22enne -. La nuova normativa parla chiaro. Questi non sono prodotti che si possono comprare dopo le 18“.
Poi, la ciliegina sulla torta “A meno che non con una certificazione dei carabinieri che ha il ciclo, non può prenderli“, ha concluso la cassiera. A nulla sono servite le rimostranze della giovane che, nonostante il tentativo di contestare l’assurdità del divieto, è tornata a casa a mani vuote.
Assorbenti vietati dopo le 18, cosa prevede l’ordinanza
Dal negozio hanno fatto sapere che i carabinieri erano stati lì quella mattina precisando di “non volere più rogne”. Come se avere il ciclo, nel 2021, fosse un problema e acquistare degli assorbenti una trasgressione dell’ultim’ora. In realtà, però, c’è una spiegazione. Il divieto fa riferimento ad un provvedimento sancito dall’articolo 2 dell’ordinanza firmata dal governatore Michele Emiliano che impone la chiusura di tutte le attività commerciali, dal 27 marzo al 6 aprile, dopo le ore 18, salvo quelle destinate alla vendita dei generi alimentari, carburante, e farmaci.
“In farmacia avrei potuto comprarli – spiega Alessia al Corriere Salentino – con un raddoppio del costo magari. Non sono andata a comprare profumi ma un prodotto ch mi serviva. Mi sono sentita in colpa per avere il ciclo, non è ammissibile in un Paese come il nostro che gli assorbenti debbano essere considerati un bene di lusso”.
Lo sfogo sui social
La studentessa ha poi raccontato la disavventura sui social senza mancare uno sfogo su Facebook che, nel giro di poche ore, ha accolto decine di consensi. “Siamo arrivati all’assurdo – scrive in un post -. Questa sera sono andata a comprare due pacchi di assorbenti ma mi è stato vietato perché non sono considerati “beni di prima necessità. Quindi non solo sono considerati “beni di lusso”, non solo paghiamo il 22% di IVA, ma adesso devo anche privarmi di un qualcosa di cui IO E MILIARDI DI DONNE abbiamo bisogno ogni mese! CHE FACCIAMO, per questa zona rossa non facciamo venire la Mestruazione??? SONO SENZA PAROLE!”.
