“L’app Immuni ha accresciuto fino a oltre 10 milioni il numero di download. Non ha per ora sortito i risultati, in termini di discovery dei contagiati, che ci si poteva aspettare”.
Queste le parole di Domenico Arcuri durante la conferenza stampa del 26 novembre 2020.
Il Commissario straordinario per l’emergenza ha poi continuato a parlare dell’App Immuni e dei suoi risultati.
“Penso che l’app sia uno strumento molto importante. Ma perché sia efficace c’è bisogno di un rapporto di mutua collaborazione tra app e chi la scarica”, ha continuato.
“Il messaggio che abbiamo veicolato non è stato sufficientemente potente perché questo accadesse. Non sono sicurissimo che ai download corrisponda un uguale numero del corretto funzionamento dell’app”.
In un altro passaggio, poi, Arcuri ha parlato del vaccino come punto di svolta.
“Per battere il virus servirà un vaccino, quello sarà il momento definitivo perché questa triste pagina possa essere in qualche misura girata e potrà costituire una triste e drammatica componente del nostro passato”, ha affermato.
