Conte professore – Le dichiarazioni sul futuro dell’ex Presidente del Consiglio, Giuseppe Conte, in un’intervista al Fatto Quotidiano.
L’ex presidente del Consiglio Giuseppe Conte, che sabato dopo la tradizionale cerimonia della campanella, ha lasciato ufficialmente Palazzo Chigi, ha annunciato quali saranno i suoi prossimi passi: “Vedo nel mio futuro immediato il rientro a Firenze, come professore dell’università. È terminata l’aspettativa, quindi ritornerò a Firenze…”. Lo ha detto intervistato dalla telecamera del Fattoquotidiano.it nei pressi di Palazzo Chigi.
Conte non risponde alla domanda su un eventuale incontro con Draghi. Poi, incalzato sul suo futuro nel M5S, magari come leader, spiega: “Ci sono tanti modi per partecipare alla vita politica, li vedremo insieme agli amici con cui abbiamo lavorato, ai compagni di viaggio”, replica. Non più tardi di dieci giorni fa, nella conferenza stampa improvvisata davanti all’ingresso di Palazzo Chigi, rivolgendosi ai pentastellati, aveva anticipato: “Io ci sono e ci sarò sempre”. Ma da allora non ha mai chiarito di che natura sarà il suo coinvolgimento con il Movimento, né se avrà incarichi specifici all’interno del partito.
A chi gli chiede se ritenga ancora di essere il perno della coalizione M5S-Pd-Leu risponde così: “Quello è un progetto che non ho declamato a casa – risponde – ma che abbiamo iniziato a realizzare e ha già prodotto dei risultati, altri sono in corso di completamento, altri vanno elaborati e realizzati. Quella è una prospettiva a cui credo molto, da politico, da privato cittadino e da ex presidente del Consiglio: continuerò a dare il mio contributo nelle modalità che decideremo insieme”.
Il post di commiato sul suo profilo Facebook ha ottenuto oltre un milione di ‘like’.
“Da oggi non sono più Presidente del Consiglio. Torno a vestire i panni di semplice cittadino. Panni che in realtà ho cercato di non dismettere mai per non perdere il contatto con una realtà fatta di grandi e piccole sofferenze, di mille sacrifici ma anche di mille speranze che scandiscono la quotidianità di ogni cittadino”.
In chiusura aggiungeva: “Insieme a tanti preziosi compagni di viaggio abbiamo contribuito a delineare un percorso a misura d’uomo, volto a rafforzare l’equità, la solidarietà, la piena sostenibilità ambientale. Il mio impegno e la mia determinazione saranno votati a proseguire questo percorso. La chiusura di un capitolo non ci impedisce di riempire fino in fondo le pagine della storia che vogliamo scrivere”.
