Tornado Alabama devastante – Almeno cinque persone sono morte in Alabama a causa dei tornado che si sono abbattuti in varie località sradicando alberi, distruggendo case e centri commerciali, abbattendo le linee elettriche mettendo fuori uso i suoi servizi telefonici e internet. Allerta tornado in tutto il sud degli Stati Uniti.
Tra i tornado che hanno spazzato il sud degli Stati Uniti ne è stato segnalato uno in particolare che si muoveva a circa 160 chilometri orari.
Il ‘twister’ si è abbattuto nell’est dell’Alabama provocando le cinque vittime quando ha attraversato la contea di Calhoun tagliandola diagonalmente e colpendo soprattutto le zone rurali. Altri tornado sono scaturiti da una perturbazione che poi si è spostata in Georgia.
