Antonella Elia ha confessato su Instagram di aver subito un’operazione al seno a causa di un tumore.
Un dolore straziante, che cambia la vita di chi viene colpito dalla malattia.
La Elia ha deciso di esporsi per aiutare altre persone che possono essere travolte da quest’uragano di negatività.
Ecco il suo toccante post su Instagram.
“Nel 2016 ho scoperto di avere un tumore. Un carcinoma ‘in situ’. ‘Una bomba che ti può esplodere da un momento all’altro’ mi dissero. Sono stata operata con l’asportazione di un quadrante al seno di 4 cm. Sono squartata, una mutilazione che mi ha segnata per sempre, che mi ha colpita nella mia femminilità.
Dagli attacchi miserabili e gratuiti che ho ricevuto in questi ultimi giorni ho deciso di lasciar perdere denunce e querele, e di trasformare la mia dolorosa esperienza in aiuto. Mi sono messa a nudo su @panorama_it per dire che non c’è da vergognarsi di essere malati, la diagnosi precoce può salvare la vita: la prevenzione, la mammografia, lo screening sono fondamentali, ed io che ne sono uscita sono qui per testimoniarlo.
Grazie di cuore a tutte le persone che mi sono state vicino, un grazie al mio amico e ufficio stampa @meolagianluca per avermi incoraggiata a parlare dell’intruso, al mio oncologo Dottor Andrea Botticelli #andybott84 alla fantastica penna di Terry Marocco @elmoroccoo e allo scatto di @stefanograssophoto”.
Antonella Elia poi conclude il post citando l’inviata delle Iene, Nadia Toffa, scomparsa nel 2019, a causa di un tumore cerebrale: “‘Rivendico il diritto di parlare apertamente della nostra malattia, che non è esibizionismo né un credersi invincibili, anzi: è un diritto a sentirsi umani. Anche fragili, ma forti nel reagire’ (Nadia Toffa)”.
