“E’ un vero piacere vederla, le faccio i complimenti. È stata un’emozione straordinaria la notte degli Oscar. La nomination è già un traguardo, il vero traguardo è quello”. Con queste parole il presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, ha accolto al Quirinale Laura Pausini, reduce dalla notte degli Oscar a Los Angeles. La cantante ha ricevuto la nomination per la canzone ‘Io sì“, colonna sonora del film “La vita davanti a sè” di Edoardo Ponti.
“Fare arrivare nei paesi più sconosciuti del mondo una canzone in italiano mi era impossibile in una serata sola. Sono stata molto onorata. Ho ricevuto tanto affetto dall’Italia, sono ancora emozionata”, ha detto la Pausini.
Laura ha postato su Instagram le foto dell’incontro speciale e ha aggiunto: “Ho avuto l’onore di essere invitata al Quirinale dal Presidente Sergio Mattarella. Grazie Presidente è stato un grande privilegio poterLa incontrare! Grazie Italia per essere stata con me anche in questa avventura pazzesca a Hollywood e grazie di avermi fatto sentire tutto l’affetto, anche a migliaia di chilometri di distanza: sono da sempre fiera di rappresentare l’Italia nel mondo e questa occasione di riconoscimento istituzionale mi riempie di orgoglio”.
