“E’ indubbio che il virus circoli e sia estremamente contagioso. Le misure prese dal governo mirano a limitare gli spostamenti. Se vogliamo arrivare al controllo assoluto, non ci riusciremo mai”, dice.
“Dobbiamo ragionare in un contesto internazionale: è un problema dell’Europa e del mondo. Nessuno nega che ci sia pressione sugli ospedali, una pressione che si riverbera sulle terapie intensive. Io ho fatto un appello per la massima attenzione a ricoveri dettati da reale necessità”.
“La terapia intensiva deve essere considerata l’ultima tappa, dobbiamo essere certi che vada usata quando è realmente indicata, affinché non sia sottratta ad altri malati”, afferma ancora.
“Il mio osservatorio è piuttosto indicativo, il 60% dei pazienti che giungono in ospedale vengono dimessi nelle 10 ore successive. Sono i cosiddetti codici verdi: ritengo che questo dato sia assolutamente comprensibile, c’è un disorientamento generale delle persone che sono molto spaventate e trovano nell’ospedale un punto di riferimento”.
“Nell’ospedale ci sono diversi livelli di cura: la semplice osservazione, una terapia di sostegno all’ossigenazione, l’assistenza ventilatoria non meccanica, fino alla situazione più estrema. Se un ospedale riesce a organizzarsi sul territorio in questo modo cerca di lavora in modo ordinato e coordinato”, dice ancora.
“Io sono preoccupato per la curva dei contagi, ma bisogna parlare di curva delle persone positive al coronavirus. La sintomatologia da lieve arriva ad essere grave, non dobbiamo perdere razionalità. Non c’è il disastro, dobbiamo dare informazioni corrette”, dice Zangrillo.
