Sono più di 24.000 i sanitari che hanno risposto alla call del commissario per l’emergenza Covid Arcuri per la campagna di vaccinazione di massa. “Avevamo chiesto a tutti i medici e infermieri di darci una mano con le vaccinazioni, mentre parliamo abbiamo 19.499 candidature, e ce ne sono altre 5.098 in compilazione. Se tutti concluderanno l’iter arriveremo a 24.599 tra medici, infermieri e assistenti sanitari che hanno voglia di darci una mano”. E sono quasi un milione le dosi del vaccino Pfizer già distribuite.
Il commissario per l’emergenza Coronavirus Domenico Arcuri snocciola i dati abbastanza soddisfatto: Dopo la Danimarca siamo il Paese in Europa che ha somministrato più vaccini alla popolazione residente. Per numero di vaccinati siamo il primo Paese, in una classifica tra i Paesi che hanno una dimensione di abitanti simile al nostro”.
L’arrivo dell’autorizzazione al vaccino di Moderna è un elemento di speranza in più e Arcuri ribadisce che ” l’obiettivo è quello di vaccinare tutti gli italiani che lo vorranno entro il prossimo autunno. Da marzo comincerà la campagna di massa. Adesso procediamo al ritmo di 67.000 al giorno. Abbiamo consegnato sinora 919.425 dosi in 293 punti di somministrazione, in primavera arriveremo a 1.500″.
