San Valentino da dimenticare – Niente cene romantiche per 5,3 milioni di italiani nel giorno di San Valentino, il 14 febbraio, nei ristoranti che quest’anno sono costretti alla chiusura serale a causa dell’emergenza Covid. E’ quanto stima la Coldiretti nel sottolineare che è superiore ai 200 milioni di euro la perdita subita da ristoranti, trattorie e pizzerie che possono aprire con servizio al tavolo solo fino alle 18,00 e solo nelle regioni gialle.
Un discorso a parte – sottolinea la Coldiretti – meritano gli agriturismi, con quasi centomila italiani che hanno scelto di fare una breve fuga per il solo pranzo o con pernottamento per l’intero weekend approfittando delle molte proposte.
Gli agriturismi sono diffusi in modo capillare e, afferma Coldiretti, “consentono di rispettare il limite dei confini regionali ma essendo situati in zone isolate in strutture familiari con un numero contenuto di posti letto e a tavola e con ampi spazi all’aperto, sono forse anche i luoghi più sicuri”.
Le aperture a pranzo per San Valentino rappresentano inoltre una opportunità per oltre 46 milioni di italiani residenti nelle regioni gialle ma anche, rileva l’organizzazione, “una boccata di ossigeno per le attività di ristorazione che si classificano tra quelle più duramente colpite dalle misure restrittive che hanno provocato un crack senza precedenti per la ristorazione, che nell’ultimo anno ha quasi dimezzato il fatturato (-48%) per una perdita complessiva di quasi 41 miliardi di euro”.
Nelle regioni gialle la ristorazione al tavolo è consentita dalle ore 5,00 alle 18,00 con la possibilità della consegna a domicilio, nonché fino alle ore 22 per l’asporto. Il prossimo passo, conclude Coldiretti, “deve essere la possibilità in zona gialla di apertura serale per i ristoranti, anche alla luce del progredire delle vaccinazioni e delle importanti misure di sicurezza adottata. La possibilità di apertura serale a cena vale infatti l’80% del fatturato di ristoranti, pizzerie ed agriturismi”.
