Origine Covid, Anthony Fauci: “Non sono convinto sia naturale”

«Non sono convinto dell’origine naturale del Covid», a dirlo è Anthony Fauci, direttore dell’Istituto nazionale di malattie infettive e consigliere della Casa Bianca sul Covid. Fauci afferma di non essere convinto che il virus del Covid si sia sviluppato per vie naturali.

Quando gli è stato chiesto se il virus fosse stato originato naturalmente, Fauci ha risposto: «non ne sono convinto, penso che dovremmo indagare su ciò che è successo in Cina. Certamente le persone che stanno indagando sostengono che l’emergenza nasca da un animale che ha contagiato gli individui, ma potrebbe essere stato qualcos’altro e noi abbiamo bisogno di scoprirlo. Per questo sono assolutamente a favore di un’indagine».

Origine Covid, l’OMS in Cina: “Origine è animale ma non sappiamo quale”

L’OMS però, non molto tempo fa, aveva mandato un team di scienziati per capire l’origine del virus. Il capo della missione a Wuhan, Peter Ben Embarek, aveva dichiarato: “Tutti i dati che abbiamo raccolto sin qui ci portano a concludere che l’origine del Coronavirus è animale”, ha detto nel corso della conferenza stampa. Aggiungendo poi: “Il lavoro sul campo su quello che è successo all’inizio della pandemia non ha stravolto le convinzioni che avevamo prima di cominciare. I dati puntano verso i pipistrelli, ma è improbabile che questi animali si trovassero a Wuhan. Non è ancora possibile individuare l’intermediario animale per il Covid”.

Inoltre l’OMS stessa aveva definito “estremamente improbabile” l’ipotesi che il virus sia nato in un laboratorio.

Sta di fatto che le parole di Fauci, medico di fama internazionale, hanno riaperto una discussione mai veramente chiusa.

  • Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it
    to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell
    to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
