Nonna Vittorina – Il suo nome, per ragioni ancora da chiarire e che si spera la Regione Calabria spiegherà, non era mai stato inserito nella lista delle persone da vaccinare e così Lucia Vittoria Talotta, da tutti conosciuta col nome di nonna Vittorina, ha deciso di raggiungere il centro vaccinale da sola per richiedere ciò che le spettava di diritto.
È accaduto nel piccolo comune calabrese di Soveria Simeri, in provincia di Catanzaro, dove nonna Vittorina, che ha cento anni, vive da sempre. Nei giorni scorsi aveva iniziato a insospettirsi del fatto che non fosse stata ancora chiamata per ricevere la dose del vaccino anti Covid che le spettava visto che la sua categoria è stata tra le prime della campagna vaccinale.
E così ha deciso di chiedere ai vicini di casa se a loro fosse stata già inoculata la dose spettante: quando le hanno confermato che effettivamente tutte le persone rientranti nella sua categoria erano stati vaccinati nel quartiere, ha deciso di sbrigare la situazione da sé.
Le è bastato poco per decidere di incamminarsi, senza nemmeno scomodare amici e parenti, verso il centro vaccini del comune di Soveria Simeri, dove ad attenderla ha trovato il team di medici e infermieri che effettivamente hanno confermato quanto da lei ipotizzato.
Il nome di Lucia Vittoria Talotta, nata il 13 dicembre del 1920, e che per fortuna non soffre di particolari patologia, non era in nessuna delle liste delle persone che avrebbero ricevuto il vaccino a breve.
A quel punto l’anziana che con decisione e gentilezza ha chiesto che le venisse fatto il vaccino è stata “accontenta”. Una determinazione la sua grazie alla quale è riuscita ad ottenere ciò che le spettava: di fatto è impossibile sapere con certezza se qualcuno l’avesse contattata nei giorni a seguire non essendo il suo nome stato inserito in nessuna lista.
Il personale sanitario è rimasto colpito dalla tenacia di nonna Vittorina che non ha voluto nemmeno che qualcuno la accompagnasse a casa dopo la somministrazione della dose, rifiutando anche il bracco di un medico gentile per uscire dal centro vaccinale. “Ma viiu iu, min ‘ndi vai sula” ovvero “Me la vedo io, me ne vado sola”, avrebbe detto mentre si incamminava verso casa.
