Gino Strada sul Covid – Gino Strada, fondatore di Emergency, è stato ospite questa domenica 13 dicembre al programma “Mezz’ora in più” condotto da Lucia Annunziata su Rai 3. Ecco uno stralcio delle sue dichiarazioni in merito al Covid-19 riportate da ADNkronos.com:
“Dalla pandemia non ne usciremo prima di 2-3 anni, ma per non pagare un prezzo elevatissimo la responsabilita individuale è fondamentale”.
“Non credo che l’emergenza si risolverà nei primi mesi di vaccinazioni, i vaccini limitano il numero dei morti, ma non la trasmissione della malattia” ha aggiunto. Quanto al dibattito sulle aperture per le festività, “mi sembra di stare in un Paese superficiale, si dimentica che noi ogni giorno abbiamo centinaia di morti e questa cosa non credo venga considerata con la dovuta attenzione e rispetto”.
“Sono molto preoccupato di quello che potrà succedere a gennaio e febbraio – ha sottolineato Strada – lì vedremo i risultati delle scelte e cosa si è fatto per Natale. Il distanziamento, le mascherine e lavare frequentemente le mani sono un cardine, mi dispiace vedere le follie di chi nega l’utilità della mascherina”.
