Falsi positivi ad Aosta – Ultime notizie clamorose da Aosta. A causa di un guasto tecnico allo strumento di laboratorio che analizza i tamponi, sono spuntati tantissimi falsi positivi nel bollettino di lunedì. L’edizione online di Repubblica riporta cosa è accaduto:
“Boom di contagi ad Aosta. E reparti Covid pieni, domenica scorsa. Ma si è trattato di un problema tecnico a uno strumento del laboratorio di analisi dell’ospedale Parini. Numerosi esami sono risultati “falsi positivi”.
“Il fatto è avvenuto domenica scorsa. Almeno una ventina di pazienti, già ricoverati, sono quindi stati trasferiti nei reparti Covid nella stessa serata. Solo lunedì mattina si è scoperta la loro negatività e ora si trovano isolati in altri reparti. I falsi positivi hanno portato a un boom di contagiati e ricoverati segnalato nel bollettino Covid dell’Unità di crisi di lunedì”.
“Il guasto è stato provocato dallo spegnimento dello strumento che si è resettato e non è stato “ritarato” dai tecnici: quasi tutti i campioni sono così risultati positivi. Secondo quanto riportato nel bollettino, infatti, su 68 referti testati domenica scorsa, 61 hanno dato esito positivo”.
“Alcuni di questi appartengono a persone che erano ricoverate in vari reparti del Parini e che quindi sono state trasferite d’urgenza nei reparti Covid. Ieri è stato rifatto a tutti il tampone che ha dato esito negativo e sono stati posti in quarantena in attesa di capire se hanno preso il virus durante la degenza nei reparti dedicati al coronavirus. Molte proteste si sono sollevate da parte dei pazienti stessi e dei parenti”
