Di Maio sul Covid – Il ministro degli Esteri, Luigi Di Maio, con un post su Facebook sottolinea come l’emergenza pandemica sia tutt’altro che superata, con un numero di contagi ancora troppo elevato. “Con questi numeri servono misure più rigide, come sta chiedendo anche il comitato tecnico scientifico”, spiega Di Maio.
Che continua: “Questo vuol dire anche che come governo dobbiamo subito individuare e mettere in campo gli interventi economici per compensare gli effetti delle nuove restrizioni. Velocità e decisione sono fondamentali”.
“Purtroppo, come stiamo vedendo anche in questa nuova fase politica, non ci sono alternative a misure più rigide, perché se è vero che ci siamo abituati alla convivenza con il virus, è altrettanto vero che questa ondata è provocata da nuove varianti che stanno preoccupando tutta Europa e vanno contenute. Ed è per questo che non possiamo abbassare la guardia o lasciarci distrarre da questioni secondarie”.
Il ministro degli Esteri conclude: “Nessuno può permettersi di scegliere: la strada da seguire è già tracciata ed è obbligatoria. Rimaniamo uniti, lo dobbiamo alla nostra Nazione”.
