Il 10% della popolazione di Corzano, paese di 1400 persone in provincia di Brescia, risulta positivo al Covid.
«Abbiamo 140 positivi e il 60% è rappresentato da studenti della scuola elementare e della materna che a loro volta hanno contagiato i familiari».
Queste le parole all’Ansa il sindaco del paese Giovanni Benzoni, pure lui positivo. «Abbiamo il Covid in tre su quattro in casa» ha detto.
Stando alle analisi di Ats Brescia la popolazione risulta contagiata dalla variante inglese del Covid. Il sindaco ha chiuso le scuole fino all’8 febbraio. «Ma l’ordinanza sarà prorogata perché da oggi iniziano i tamponi di richiamo e quindi dovremo aspettare gli esiti».
Le autorità starebbero valutando la possibilità di chiudere il paese in entrata e in uscita. «Non ho saputo nulla, ma posso dire che nelle ultime ore abbiamo avuto un solo caso in più. Tutte le famiglie sono in isolamento e ci aspettiamo che la curva torni a scendere», ha commentato il sindaco.
