Il giocatore della Juventus Leonardo Bonucci è risultato positivo al Covid. Il difensore ha fatto parte del gruppo dei convocati in Nazionale. Proprio nel gruppo in cui finora erano stati registrati quattro casi di positività, tutti tra membri dello staff del c.t. Roberto Mancini.
In casa Juventus c’è preoccupazione per le prossime partite con Torino e Napoli. Soprattutto per la difesa in quanto anche Demiral è positivo al Covid, Chiellini è infortunato, Buffon è squalificato (a causa della bestemmia) e non è chiara ancora la situazione di Szczesny dopo che è scoppiato un focolaio di Covid tra i giocatori della Nazionale polacca.
Ma più in generale c’è preoccupazione tra tutti i convocati della Nazionale che comunque al momento sono in isolamento e saranno sottoposti a tamponi nelle rispettive squadre.
Intanto la Uefa «prevede» di autorizzare la convocazione di più di 23 giocatori in occasione dei prossimi Europei in programma dall’ 11 giugno all’11 luglio. Questo è quanto richiesto da diversi allenatori di fronte ai rischi associati al Covid-19. «La Uefa sta valutando la questione, ma nessuna decisione è stata presa per il momento», ha detto un portavoce dell’Uefa come riportato dal giornale francese « l’Equipe», dopo le richieste dei c.t. dell’Italia Roberto Mancini, del Belgio Roberto Martinez e di Didier Deschamps per la Francia. I commissari tecnici sono preoccupati dal possibile scoppio di un focolaio Covid nel gruppo durante il torneo, con conseguenze gravissime come l’esclusione dal torneo. Sempre secondo «l’Equipe», la decisione potrebbe essere formalizzata durante il prossimo Comitato esecutivo del 19 aprile.
