“Il picco della terza ondata e’ stato raggiunto ormai quasi in tutta Italia, il tasso di positività dei tamponi e’ sceso al 4% e dovremmo vedere nelle prossime due settimane una riduzione significativa di ricoveri ospedalieri e anche decessi. Risultati ottenuti non certo grazie alla zona rossa Pasquale unica, ma grazie alle misure di contenimento locali e alla naturale evoluzione di ogni ondata epidemica (che dura in genere tra le 4 e le 8 settimane)”.

“Ieri Ema ha deciso di non decidere, lasciando ai vari paesi dell’Unione la scelta di cosa fare sul vaccino di Astrazeneca. Lasciare i singoli paesi europei con il cerino in mano nella decisione su cosa fare con AZ, allontana ancora di più la gente dalle istituzioni e dall’Europa stessa. Credo che la credibilita’ di questo vaccino sia purtroppo compromessa nell’opinione pubblica”.
“Occorre farsene una ragione e bisogna soprattutto trovare soluzioni alternative anche in autonomia rispetto all’Europa stessa. Per quanto riguarda la nostra campagna vaccinale, cerchiamo di guardare al bicchiere mezzo pieno: AstraZeneca (che rimane un ottimo vaccino per il quale i benefici superano di molto i rischi di eventi avversi) va bene per chi ha più di 60 anni. Concentriamoci su tutti quelli che hanno più di 60 anni e vacciniamoli tutti nel più breve tempo possibile. Poi penseremo a quelli più giovani”.
