Bassetti-Simona Ventura – L’infettivologo Matteo Bassetti è stato ospite martedì 23 marzo nel programma di Rai 3 Carta Bianca. Il noto professore ligure ha spiegato cosa bisogna fare se si è asintomatici: “Quando i sintomi sono lievi, come febbricola e dolori articolari, si curano con gli antinfiammatori”.
“Cortisone, antibiotici ed eparina vanno usati quando c’è una compromissione respiratoria e quando i valori del saturimetro sono preoccupanti. In ogni caso certi farmaci non vanno usati troppo precocemente“.
Successivamente ha avuto un botta e risposta con Simona Ventura, conduttrice e volto noto della Tv italiana che era ospite del programma anche lei collegata via streaming.
Ventura: “Quando ero positiva ho avuto la fortuna di avere dei medici che ci hanno ospitato. Giustamente il prof. Bassetti ha ragione, io però ovviamente mi sono interfacciata col mio medico che mi ha consigliato di curarmi in altro modo”.
Bassetti: “Bisogna evitare di fare informazione non corretta però!”
Ventura: “Io ho raccontato il mio caso, non ho fatto informazione non corretta”.
Bassetti: “Allora senta, lei fa la conduttrice e io faccio il medico. Quindi ascolti cosa le dico io se permette. Se facciamo fare ai conduttori televisivi i medici, allora non va bene. Quello che hanno fatto con lei è sbagliato, curarla in quel modo se non aveva sintomi è stato un errore. Lo dobbiamo dire, è un errore! Avere un principio di polmonite non vuol dire di avere la necessità di essere curata col cortisone”.
Ventura: “Però io ho avuto la mia esperienza e la racconto!”
Bassetti: “E allora si prenda la laurea e venga a parlare al posto mio”.
