“Con il programma attuale rischiamo di arrivare all’estate con una vaccinazione sulla popolazione che è inferiore al 30%. E la copertura al 70% diventa un miraggio”.
E’ la posizione che il professor Massimo Andreoni, Direttore della clinica di malattie infettive del Policlinico Tor Vergata di Roma e direttore scientifico della Simit (Società italiana di malattie infettive e tropicali), illustra al quotidiano il Messaggero.
“Il problema della vaccinazione non è arrivato improvvisamente. È una questione di cui si parla da settimane e che in qualche modo era fortemente attesa. Quindi, la mancanza di un piano vaccinale ben redatto e avviato lascia grandi perplessità“, afferma.
“Stanno emergendo numerose difficoltà che certamente andavano analizzate molto tempo addietro, per poter poi trovare soluzioni prima dell’inizio della campagna vaccinale”, aggiunge Andreoni.
