Il Consigliere regionale della Lega Giacomo Conserva denuncia il caso di un 78enne positivo al Covid rimasto 28 ore in ambulanza in attesa di essere ricoverato in un ospedale dell’Asl di Taranto.
«Ventotto lunghe ore di attesa prima di essere finalmente portato in reparto. Assurdo, indegno, ignobile. Il malato ha trascorso la notte di sabato e tutta la domenica delle Palme a bordo di un’ambulanza in coda, in mancanza di posti letto. Non era il solo, anche altri pazienti erano in attesa come lui a bordo di ambulanze in coda. Una notizia che è stata riportata da numerosi organi di stampa dopo aver letto lo sfogo via social di un’operatrice sanitaria che ha assistito il 78enne. Ha mangiato, bevuto e fatto i suoi bisogni negli appositi presidi e sempre nell’ambulanza ha dovuto fare la terapia con l’ossigeno».
Conserva continua: «Ho richiesto ufficialmente un’audizione urgente in Commissione sanità del direttore generale dell’Asl di Taranto, Stefano Rossi. Questa vicenda merita chiarezza. Dove sono finiti i posti letto previsti nel nuovo Piano ospedaliero per la gestione dell’emergenza Covid-19? Qual è la situazione attuale dei posti disponibili in terapia intensiva e il tasso di occupazione degli stessi? Vogliamo delle risposte. Tutto questo è disumano».
