Studentessa di 19 anni stroncata dalla leucemia – Ultime notizie drammatiche da Padova, dove una ragazza di 19 anni ci ha lasciato prematuramente. A riportare la notizia è l’edizione online de Il Mattino. Era uno spirito creativo che manifestava attraverso l’apertura agli altri e l’impegno nello studio la sua grande voglia di vivere.
Ma tante risorse ed il continuo supporto della sua famiglia non sono bastate a farle vincere la durissima battaglia contro un male che non perdona. Torreglia (Padova) è sotto choc per la morte di Irene Righetti, 19 anni, studentessa all’istituto Ruzza di Padova, stroncata da una forma acuta di leucemia mercoledì scorso all’ospedale padovano, dove era ricoverata da alcune settimane.
Irene aveva iniziato l’anno scolastico con tantissime speranze ed ambizioni. Avrebbe dovuto affrontare l’esame di maturità, al quale si stava già preparando con scrupolo, forte anche dell’ottimo profitto che aveva contraddistinto finora la sua carriera scolastica.
La scomparsa della diciannovenne ha gettato nella disperazione i genitori, Marta Veronese e Maurizio Righetti. La famiglia è molto nota ed apprezzata in paese. La mamma costituisce infatti una figura storica del liceo scientifico Cornaro di Padova, dove lavora fra le fila del personale non docente. Ugualmente conosciuto è stimato è anche il papà, titolare di un’attività artigiana.
Parenti ed amici si sono stretti attorno alla famiglia, chiusa nel proprio dolore nell’abitazione di via Volti a due passi dal confine con il Comune di Montegrotto. Irene si era distinta negli anni precedenti anche per l’impegno civico che l’aveva portata a fare parte del consiglio comunale dei ragazzi istituito dal Comune di Torreglia.
