Ha sparato alla moglie Barbara Gargano, 38 anni e ai suoi due figli, un bambino e una bambina di due anni mentre dormivano nel letto.
L’omicidio è avvenuto intorno alle 4 di questa notte, 9 novembre 2020.
Ha mirato alla testa, un colpo per ognuno. Poi Alberto Accastello, 40 anni, operaio della Cereal Ceretto ha rivolto l’arma, una calibro 22 verso se stesso e si è ucciso. Il figlio Alessandro è morto poco dopo l’arrivo in ospedale, la sorellina lotta ancora per sopravvivere.
Non ha scelto un giorno a caso: oggi la sua relazione, pensava, sarebbe finita ufficialmente perché Barbara oggi avrebbe lasciato la loro casa di Carignano, in frazione Ceretto 76.
“Venerdi aveva preso mezza giornata di ferie per consegnare le carte della separazione”, raccontano alla Cereal Ceretto, l’azienda di mangimi e cereali dove Alberto aveva lavorato per 20 anni e dove tutti lo considerano un fratello.
Qui come nella borgata tutti sapevano che la coppia era in crisi ma nessuno immaginava quello che sarebbe successo. “Ultimamente avevamo visto Alberto molto giù di morale – racconta un vicino – Era chiaro che viveva molto male la separazione, aveva perso peso, diceva di non dormire. Ma non era mai stato una persona violenta”.
I vicini si sono svegliati quando hanno visto i lampeggianti dei carabinieri. Il sopralluogo della scientifica è ancora in corso.
“Avevamo visto Barbara ieri sera, era tranquilla, quasi gioiosa”, raccontano i vicini di casa dopo la strage familiare a Torino.
“Noi non abbiamo sentito nulla, ma è stato nostro figlio a svegliarci verso le cinque battendo sulle imposte, per raccontarci quello che era successo”, dichiarano.
Barbara lavorava come impiegata in un supermercato di Moncalieri. Aveva sposato Alberto 5 anni fa e per anni avevano vissuto tutti insieme nella casa della famiglia dell’uomo insieme al padre e allo zio, proprio accanto al terreno dove ora avevano costruito la casa nuova.
