A Mineo, nel Catanese, un uomo di 44 anni è stato arrestato dai carabinieri per aver picchiato il figlio di quattro anni che faceva i capricci e la convivente, madre del piccolo, accorsa in difesa.
Il 44enne è accusato di maltrattamenti in famiglia e lesioni personali aggravate. Ai militari ha detto di avere agito in quel modo per l’incapacità della madre di educare il figlio. Di conseguenza doveva esser lui a farlo, se necessario, anche con le botte. L’uomo è stato posto ai domiciliari in casa di alcuni familiari.
I militari sono intervenuti in un appartamento di via Santa Croce in seguito a una telefonata fatta dai vicini di casa che hanno sentito gridare. I militari vi hanno trovato la nonna con in braccio il bambino.
La madre del piccolo, giunta poco dopo, ha riferito che il convivente aveva picchiato prima il figlio e poi lei. L’uomo ha anche rotto un vetro della finestra con un pugno.
