Un cucciolo di volpe spaventato e denutrito è stato trovato in un bidone della raccolta differenziata poco fuori l’abitato di Lecce, a Calimera, da un cittadino che lo ha prelevato con tutte le cautele del caso e consegnato al centro “Sos fauna selvatica Calimera”. Con ogni probabilità il cucciolo si era rifugiato nel contenitore in cerca di protezione. Quando è stato trovato, l’animale era affamato e sporco. Dopo essere stato rifocillato e curato, gli operatori del centro di Calimera lo hanno rimesso in libertà.
“Sos fauna selvatica Calimera” è un centro di recupero di animali selvatici istituito presso il Museo di Storia naturale del Salento. In questa struttura gli animali selvatici vengono curati gratuitamente e poi liberati in natura.
