Aveva tentato il suicidio in carcere e oggi è morto dopo circa un mese di agonia, Alberto Pastore, il 24enne che nell’agosto 2019 uccise a coltellate l’amico Yoan Leonardi, confessando poi il delitto con stories su Instagram e un post su Facebook. Una vicenda che sconvolse Cureggio, in provincia di Novara.
Era ricoverato in ospedale dopo aver tentato il suicidio in carcere, dove stava scontando una condanna a 14 anni. La notizia, anticipata dal dorso novarese del quotidiano La Stampa, è stata confermata dall’ANSA.
Il decesso risalirebbe a venerdì scorso, ma la notizia ha trovato conferma soltanto oggi a Cureggio, il paese dove vive la famiglia del giovane e dove da giorni si rincorrevano le voci. In carcere Pastore aveva manifestato problemi di salute, forse dovuto anche ad un presunto pestaggio, dai quali non si è ripreso fino al suicidio.
Le sue condizioni erano apparse sin dall’inizio molto gravi. Il giovane stava scontando una condanna a 14 anni per l’omicidio di quello che era il suo migliore amico, che aveva accusato di essere il motivo per cui la fidanzata lo aveva lasciato. Una circostanza che, nel corso delle indagini, non ha mai trovato conferme. Prima di essere arrestato il giovane era fuggito in auto e, quando era ancora alla guida, aveva registrato un video, poi pubblicato sui social, in cui confessava di essere l’assassino.
