Il ritmo delle vaccinazioni anti Covid in Europa è di una lentezza “inaccettabile”: lo ha reso noto l’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità.
“I vaccini rappresentano il nostro modo migliore per uscire da questa pandemia… Tuttavia, il lancio di questi vaccini è inaccettabilmente lento“ e “sta prolungando la pandemia”, ha reso noto in un comunicato il direttore dell’Oms per l’Europa, Hans Kluge.
L’attuale impennata dei casi di coronavirus in Europa è “la più preoccupante” da diversi mesi, ha dichiarato l’Oms.

Un errore umano in uno stabilimento di Baltimora “rovina 15 milioni di dosi di vaccino Johnson & Johnson”, causando ritardi nelle consegne negli Stati Uniti.
Lo riporta il New York Times citando fonti federali. L’impianto in causa è gestito da Emergent BioSolutions, partner di Johnson & Johnson e AstraZeneca. Gli ingredienti dei due vaccini sarebbero stati per errore uniti, rovinando milioni di dosi J&J e mettendo in dubbio le consegne del prossimo mese negli Stati Uniti, che dovevano arrivare proprio da Baltimora. Le autorità rassicurano sui vaccini J&J già distribuiti negli Usa perché sono stato prodotti in Olanda.
