Lillo dopo il Covid – Lillo Petrolo, del duo comico Lillo & Greg, ha rilasciato un’intervista a Marco Liorni nel programma Italia sì. L’attore ha raccontato la sua battaglia contro il Covid-19. Battaglia ardua, dolorosa ma che è riuscito a vincere. Lo scorso novembre, infatti, ha annunciato di essere guarito dal Coronavirus. A Marco Liorni ha spiegato di stare meglio:
“Sto benino, mi sto riprendendo. Con me il Covid si è espresso al massimo. Tutto quello che poteva darmi di brutto me l’ha dato, dalla febbre altissima ai dolori per arrivare alla polmonite. Sono stato in ospedale con la polmonite bilaterale e anche tre giorni in terapia intensiva. Me la sono vissuta al massimo della negatività. Mia moglie, invece, per fortuna ha avuto solo piccoli sintomi”.

Lillo Petrolo ha raccontato di aver trascorso ben ventisei giorni in ospedale, di cui tre in terapia intensiva. Non appena è risultato positivo, ha provato a curarsi a casa. Purtroppo, però, la situazione è andata peggiorando rapidamente.
Ha avuto serie difficoltà a respirare e il medico gli ha consigliato il ricovero: “In terapia intensiva non sono arrivato al casco, ero a uno step prima. Ero con le cannule al naso e con l’ossigeno al massimo. Se fossi peggiorato ancora, sarei passato al casco”.
Spesso in questi mesi di pandemia, è stato evidenziato come il Covid-19 costringa chi è contagiato a vivere la sua battaglia in solitudine. Così, diventa doppiamente difficile fare i conti con il dolore, soprattutto quando si insinua la paura di non riuscire a farcela. Per fortuna, ci sono gli infermieri e i medici che trovano sempre il modo di incoraggiare i pazienti:
“Mi ha dato molta forza il rapporto con gli infermieri, spesso scherzoso. Questo scherzare con loro, sdrammatizzare, mi ha dato la forza di guarire. A un certo punto ho rischiato la depressione, ho rischiato di abbattermi quando ho visto che peggioravo sempre con il respiro e loro mi hanno aiutato tantissimo”.
“È una malattia che ti rende solo. Anche sentirmi con mia moglie con il cellulare è stato fondamentale. Quando sei lì, hai una paura fot**ta. Pensi alla morte. Quando vai in terapia intensiva pensi proprio: ‘Oddio, potrei non farcela’. Io avevo l’abitudine di abbassare la mascherina per respirare meglio, ora non lo faccio più”.
