Bassetti dalla D’Urso – Il Prof. Matteo Bassetti, direttore della Clinica di Malattie infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova e componente della task force Covid-19 della Liguria, ha parlato ai microfoni di Live – Non è La D’Urso su Canale 5 domenica 15 novembre:
“La convivenza col Virus dovrà esserci anche dopo il vaccino. Qualcuno si contagerà uguale anche dopo il vaccino. Ma vediamo questa luce in fondo al tunnel, perché sono arrivati vari vaccini alla fase 3 di sperimentazione. 2 o 3 sono davvero molto vicini alla chiusura della sperimentazione, uno di questi ha avuto il 90% di possibilità di riuscita”.
“Oggi però è arrivato il momento di prepararci a tutto questo, so che il Governo si sta preparando a tutto questo. Per fare i vaccini bisognerà aiutarsi con le farmacie, con l’esercito. Dobbiamo prepararci al meglio. Bisogna lavorare forte sulla comunicazione. Bisogna che quando arriverà il vaccino, non sarà lo stato a dire di dover fare il vaccino ma sarà il cittadino a dire: “voglio fare il vaccino”.

Interviene Barbara D’Urso che afferma: “Matteo voglio ringraziarti per la tua presenza qui stasera, poche ore fa hai perso tua mamma ma hai deciso ugualmente di essere con noi in diretta e onorare il tuo impegno con noi. Ti faccio le mie condoglianze”.
Bassetti risponde: “Sono qui anche per lei, perché amava profondamente che io andassi in televisione a spiegare questo virus in maniera semplice. Sono qui per onorare la sua memoria, così come sarò a lavoro domani mattina alle 8 in corsia”.
